German Courses for Refugee Prospective Students

The university-level German courses offered through Welcome@FUBerlin are aimed at refugee students and prospective students who wish to begin or continue a degree program at Freie Universität Berlin. Eligible participants include individuals who have completed secondary education or who have already begun or completed a university program in their home country. The courses support participants in developing their German language skills and help them navigate the academic environment.

The focus lies on the continuous development of German language proficiency, the enhancement of communication skills, and providing fundamental insights into everyday university life. The aim is to support participants in starting their studies in Germany and to facilitate their access to academic life.
